One of the major benefits of the lighthouse 5014P is that it has it's own built-in internal pump so you don't have to retrofit a pump to it.  This airborne laser particle counter can handle 24/7 continuous operation.

This highly developed instrument provides a sensitivity of 0.5 microns and a flow rate of 0.1 cfm.  The Lighthouse 5014P utilizes an internal vacuum source, has versatile mounting options and provides real-time data collection.

This flexible remote particle counter integrates seamlessly with large facility monitoring systems and transfers up to 6 channels of simultaneous particle count data using RS-485 MODBUS Protocol.  The Lighthouse 5014-P has memory and support for up to four 4-20 mA environmental sensors.

This optional screen plugs into the back of the unit and allows you to locally view all data as it is recorded.  It can also be used to program the unit for sample times, hold times, etc.

The Lighthouse Remote 5014P's applications include small systems (5 or less sensors) or for those that need more sampling locations.  In a process tool minienvironment, or small cleanroom, a Remote 5014P with MiniManifold can take particle samples from 6 locations plus 4 environmental sensors.  It can be used in cleanrooms, critical environments for food and pharmaceutical production, small facility monitoring or where separate pump and remote particle counters are not feasible.

One drawback of the 5014P is it is only powered by AC, no battery option is available.  It is also larger in size than most remotes (9" x 3.5" x 6") which may be a problem in tight spaces.

It usually depends on installation.  Since the pump is built in, you don't have to run tubing from a central pump or separate pumps to each particle counter.
